Protect the core. Reshape what’s possible.
Financial services organizations are playing offense and defense at the same time: pursuing bold innovations and safeguarding assets amid growing risks.

Make bold moves with speed and confidence.
Every financial services leader is striving to achieve a delicate balance. From launching new products to deploying AI models, the same moves that power growth and innovation introduce operational complexity and regulatory risk.
As customer expectations continue rising and cybersecurity threats compound, your technology foundation must enable strength and agility.
Move faster without taking on more risk.
CBTS partners with banks, credit unions, insurers, and capital markets firms across North America. You bring the business objectives. We bring senior engineering depth and a vendor-agnostic partner ecosystem to help you move faster, increase resilience, and meet your customers’ expectations.
Complete AI lifecycle partnership
CBTS supports the full AI journey — strategy, advisory, deployment, scaling, and 24×7 managed operations. We meet you where you are and stay with you at every stage.
Infrastructure mastery
The compute, network, and storage foundations AI demands aren’t theoretical for us. Three decades of enterprise infrastructure experience means we’ve already solved the problems most organizations are about to encounter.
Security by design
We integrate AI-specific security capabilities from day one — eliminating the primary concern that keeps most organizations from deeper AI adoption.
Battle-tested at enterprise scale
You shouldn’t be the test case. CBTS implements AI in our own operations before we bring it to clients — so what we deliver is proven in production, not piloted on your time and budget.
Six ways we help financial services organizations build stronger foundations
Each is a challenge you can get out in front of.
Cybersecurity

AI & data
Address compliance while achieving AI ambitions.
Most institutions have pilots; few have a repeatable, auditable path to production. We prioritize high-value use cases and build the operating model and governance regulated environments require. Ultimately, we help your AI initiatives reach go live without adding compliance exposure.

Cloud
Finetune your cloud strategy and cloud spend.
Dependence on a single hyperscaler is exactly the third-party and operational risk regulators now scrutinize. Vendor-agnostic by design, we weigh public cloud, private cloud, and colocation to reduce dependency and build resilience.

Application
Preserve what works. Modernize what doesn’t.
With years of business logic inside lending, payments, and claims platforms, every release feels risky and slow. We modernize, replatform, or extend them with GenAI, so the applications your customers depend on keep evolving without disrupting daily operations.

Where they started: A regional credit union needed a single, end-to-end IT partner to implement, manage, and monitor its systems, and to meet rising regulatory and data-protection requirements without expanding its own team.
The foundation we built together: CBTS migrated IT operations to a secure CBTS cloud environment, including the core processing application running on IBM Power Systems. We added offsite backup to a secondary location for compliance, implemented Active Directory to strengthen security and data protection, and managed enterprise backups, antivirus, network, and firewalls across the data center and branches.
What they're building now: The IT team no longer spends its time patching software and managing hardware. Built-in security and compliance address regulatory requirements, and shifting from CapEx to OpEx gives the credit union a predictable monthly cost, so it can expand into new markets and enroll new members more easily.

Frequently asked questions
CBTS scores AI use cases against business value, data readiness, and regulatory risk, then builds the operating model and governance controls that let you scale responsibly. The result is a clear route from first workshop to go-live across fraud detection, customer service, and risk reporting, without new audit exposure.
Compliance and resilience shape every decision from day one. CBTS builds third-party risk, operational resilience, data residency, and recovery requirements into the design rather than retrofitting. We help institutions align with FFIEC guidance in the U.S. and DORA for firms with EU operations, and prove recovery through tested backup and disaster recovery.
Yes. Wholesale replacement rarely makes sense. CBTS maps your environment, identifies workloads to diversify, and models scenarios across public cloud, private cloud, and colocation. As a vendor-agnostic partner, we design a multi-cloud architecture that cuts single-provider dependency and the third-party risk auditors examine, phased rather than disruptive.
Working directly with a hyperscaler gives deep expertise in one platform and limited accountability for everything around it. CBTS works across a vendor-agnostic partner ecosystem, so recommendations start with what’s right for your environment, not what one provider sells, and we can weigh whether a different mix better fits your risk.
CBTS provides consulting, managed services, and technology procurement across six areas: AI & Data, Applications, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Digital Workplace, and Network & Infrastructure. Common work includes AI readiness and governance, managed detection and response, hybrid and multi-cloud resilience, core application modernization, secure cloud hosting with backup and disaster recovery, and Teams and contact center for distributed teams.
