How the General Counsel sets the tone for CBTS

By Heather Cameron

At CBTS, our legal department’s role goes beyond simply mitigating legal risks. We’ve established a culture of practical problem-solving and long-term strategic thinking. We believe that legal professionals should proactively identify potential risks and partner with the business team to develop solutions. This might involve crafting contracts that allow clients to take advantage of new opportunities while protecting the company’s interests, or helping the business navigate compliance requirements in order to expand business in a foreign jurisdiction.
